An apple a day keeps the pimple away!

Apples are available throughout the year, but they get juicer and vibrant as the sun increases its share of UV rays towards our part of the world. These UV rays not only enrich the apples but also the inclination of skin problems. After a tiring day out in the sun, be it shopping or work, your skin deserves a lavish treatment. To keep skin fresh and glowing even in the heat apples can do wonders! They contain sugar, tannin, organic acids and pectin which nourishes, moisten, soften and renew skin very well. So ladies now you can have a delightfully relaxing experience right at your home. Try these apple masks and feel you skin breathe!

  • Apple mask for normal skin:

1 apple cored and quartered.

2 Tbs honey

Drop the apple pieces in a food processor and chop, add honey to it and refrigerate for 10 minutes. Apply mixture onto your face with a light tapping motion, until the honey feels tacky. Leave it on for 30 minutes and then rinse.

  • Apple mask for dry skin:

Mix one 1 table spoon of grated apple with 1 table spoon of butter. Beat 1 egg yolk with 1 tea spoon of honey and combine with the apple mixture. Apply to your face for 20 minutes and then rinse with cold water. This mask results best when done before sleep.

  • Apple mask for oily skin:

1 egg white

1 Tbsp apple (grated)

1 tea sp potato starch and grinded apricot

Using the above make a mixture and apply on face for 15 minutes then rinse with warm water.

  • Apple mask for aging skin:

1 green apple (grated)

1 carrot (grated)

Mix them together carefully and put them on face for 15 minutes then wash with cool water. This mask will help the skin by moistening it and giving it a healthy color.

  • Quick and easy apple mask:

This is for all skin types.

1 tea sp apple sauce

1 tea sp mayonnaise

Apply their mixture on face for 20 minutes and then wash with cool water.
